HOFFMAN, Ida Irene -- Ida Irene (King) (Edgat) Hoffman of Wingham and formerly of Gorrie Passed away at Bray Lodge, Wingham on Friday, December 3rd, 1999. She was in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late John Hoffman and the late Sandy Edgar. Dear mother of Bob Edgar and his wife Mary of Georgetown. Dear grandmother of Dale Edgar and his wife Linda of Gorrie, Dianne Hitz and husband Dan of Gorrie, Brian Edgar of Hamiltion and Karen Edgar of Mississauga. Also loved by her 4 great-grandchildren Jeremy & Jason Hiltz and Ansley and Caitin Edgar. Predeceased by her sisters Pearl Hutchinson, Cora Bennett and great-granddaughter Alyson. Friends were received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Gorrie Visitation Centre of Schimanski Family Funeral where the funeral service was conducted Monday, December 6, at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Jeff Hawkins of Gorrie United Church officiating. Carring floral tributes were Dianne Hiltz, Karen Edgar and Linda Edgar. Pallbearers were Dale Edgar, Dan Hiltz, Brian Edgar, Cam Edgar, Bob Black and HughHutchinson. Interment in Gorrie Cemetery.
