Maggie Ahern's Death.
The death of Miss Maggie Ahern last Friday brought to a close an extended period of suffering which was borne with patience and fortitude. Miss Ahern was a favorite among the young people in town, and her funeral on Sunday was largely attended. The service in St. Joseph's church was conducted by Rev. Father Cote. As the remains were being carried into the edifice the Dead March was played by Miss Hettie Tyrrell. An anthem "O death where is thy sting," was rendered by Miss Mattie Hayden, Guelph with very solemn effect.- Media Type
