Mia Irwin (left) and Joanne Chandler (right) plan on walking 60 kilometres again this year in the Weekend to End Breast Cancer Sept. 7-9 in Toronto as a fundraiser for Princess Margaret Hospital. They sold pink ribbon items and chocolates in the Georgetown Market Place Wal-Mart store and between them raised $1,356.20, which was matched by Wal-Mart assistant manager Pauline Glassford (second from left) and store manager John Divirgilio. Each walker received $678.10 toward their fund-raising minimum of $2,000 required to participate in the September event. For more information visit the website www.endcancer.ca.
