Spring was in the air for GlenStar Camp for the Performing Arts with a theatre workshop called Spring onto the Stage. All ages turned out for the event which included a variety of theatre activites, music and dance, and a visual arts component. Participants were encouraged to create a commercial jingle, test their improv talents, and even paint their own theatre mask. "It's refreshing to see such a creative group of kids doing something productive on a rainy Saturday afternoon," says GlenStar Director Amy Kelleher. This is the first spring workshop for GlenStar, a local camp for the Performing Arts which offers a summer program from July 2-13 and July 16-27. For more information about GlenStar's summer program, visit www.glenstarcamp.ca or call 905-877-0783 to register.
