Income tax returns will be done free of charge by volunteers from the local branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. This service is only for low-income taxpayers. Total income requirements for each household unit are $15,000 without dependents and $22,500 with dependents. The clinics will be held at the Georgetown Branch of the Halton Hills Public Library on Tuesday, March 13 and Thursday, March 15, from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. The Acton Branch of the Halton Hills Public Library will hold their clinic March 22nd from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. This service is offered by appointment only. Please visit or call the appropriate branch to register. Register in person at the Georgetown branch (9 Church St., Georgetown) or by phone at 905-873-2681 ext. 2511. Register in person at the Acton branch (17 River St., Acton) or by phone at 519-853-0301. Space is limited.
