On Saturday, February 24, Upper Credit Humane Society (UCHS) holds its official grand opening of the Upper Credit Humane Society Thrift Shop, in Moore Park Plaza, Georgetown. Mayor Rick Bonnette, Ward 3 councillors, UCHS volunteers and board of directors invite the public to a ribbon-cutting ceremony, beginning at 11 a.m. Cake and light refreshments will be served. The store is filled to the brim with an array of merchandise, avaiable for preview on the UCHS website www.uppercredit.com and clicking on Thrift Store. All proceeds go to the care of the resident animals sheltering at the Upper Credit Humane Society, 519833-2287.
