'Tis the season of giving Magic donation Daycare aids food bank Toys for Sally Ann

Curves on Main Street Georgetown recently completed its month-long toy drive in which toys were donated by members and staff to the Salvation Army. Curve staffers (from left) Debby Jackson, Jennifer Harvey, Val Leachman, Hilary Leachman and Annette Ryan assembled as the toys were ready to be picked up.
During the month of November-- Courage to Change month-- Herbal Magic Weight Loss Centres and their clients raised $1,030 and more than 273 "nurture items" in support of Halton Women's Place. With their donations from left to right, are Christina Mackay, special events and volunteer co-ordinator with Halton Women's Place, Brenda Hyde, Milton Herbal Magic, Deborah Critchell, Georgetown Herbal Magic and Corey Critchell, Acton Herbal Magic.
Marian Viant (second from left), of the Georgetown Bread Basket food bank dropped by Halton Region Daycare on Maple Avenue to receive a donation for the food bank and was joined by Teddy Wroblewski, 5, Julia Cisiori and Om Buddhdev, both 2, as well as Lina Holland, the daycare's cook. The food donations were gathered in conjunction with the daycare's tree lighting.
