Georgetown Globe's production of Urinetown, The Musical just closed this weekend at the John Elliott Theatre. The premise of the show is a satire on what would life be like if you had to pay to use public toilets, so as a cute take on the show Michelle Giacometti who played Penelope Pennywise (the person who ran the only amenity in the bad part of town) stood by the washrooms at the theatre during intermission to collect change for anyone wanting to use the washroom. Globe collected $80 and will be donating the money to the Salvation Army.
