Come and join the tour and discover ideas for your Christmas decorating. All six homes are located in the Georgetown area. Here is a quick overview of homes that will be featured: 1. One of the homes on the tour is an historical townhome which was known to have been built in the late 1860s to house the Barber Mill foreman. This beautiful townhome has undergone extensive renovations and restoration. The home still retains much of its original charm and character with its wide plank floors and high baseboards. 2. This lovely modern home welcomes you to enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the season around you and a warm welcome awaits From the circular staircase in the foyer, make your way through to the dining room where a table is set for a family feast. Linger a moment to enjoy the flow of the décor leaving with ideas to use in your own home. 3. From the gingerbread trim on the exterior of this 1880s era home to the original pine floor boards, this four bedroom, two-storey home has been painstakingly restored by its present owners bringing this house back to its original charm. This home boasts a large family room with original fireplace and a farm house kitchen. The interior is completely furnished in authentic 1800 period reproductions which were crafted by Heritage House Reproductions. 4. You will enjoy this stylish home which is situated on a quiet crescent and ravine lot. The peaceful décor in shades of off-white and neutral tones is beautifully complemented by ceramic, wood and luxurious carpeted floors. Family antiques enhance the more traditional furnishings in this five-year-old home. High ceilings, and French doors add to this elegantly decorated home. 5. Experience a country Christmas when you enter this beautiful country home from its wraparound veranda to the pine trim, hardwood floors, and earth tone colours. This home was designed with the country theme in mind. The home has a smooth flow with large rooms in keeping with a busy family life. 6.
