Scholarship application forms are now available for students needing assistance for the 2007-2008 academic year. Through the CHHA (Canadian Hard of Hearing Association) Scholarship Program, two $1,000 scholarships are awarded annually for hard of hearing, deafened and oral deaf post-secondary students. The CHHA Scholarship was established to offer financial assistance and recognition to hard of hearing and deafened students registered in a full-time program at a recognized Canadian college or university, in any area of study, with the ultimate goal of obtaining a diploma or degree. Applications for both scholarships will be accepted from any hard of hearing, deafened or oral deaf student registered in a full-time program at a Canadian post-secondary institution. The deadline for submissions is January 31, 2007. For more information, please visit the CHHA website: http://chha.ca/chha/scholarships-index.php
