With the hype that the release of the new Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) is creating, four Milton men decided Thursday to camp out in Georgetown, to be first in the door at Wal-Mart. "We were going to camp out at the Milton Wal-Mart" said Micho Rizzo, "but when we got there, there was a van already parked there, with five guys in it. "Since Milton Wal-Mart is only getting six PS3s in," continued Rizzo, "it was pointless for us to stay there, so we set out for Georgetown, and there was no one camping out at Wal-Mart, so we stayed here." The men were told the Georgetown WalMart, located in the Georgetown Market Place, would have six PS3s available, so they decided to set up camp at the west doors of the store, in anticipation of the Friday 8 a.m. opening. Rizzo, and his friends Armando Bronca, Benito Camelas and Ron Polano, brought along a tent, lots of snacks and reading material to get them through the night. "I expect they (Wal-Mart) will give us wrist bands tomorrow morning at 7 a.m.," said Rizzo, "That way, we can take down the tent and have the way clear for the customers to come in when they open at 8 a.m." When asked if they were avid game players, Rizzo replied, "Well a couple of the guys here are, but not me. Those things are selling on eBay for $1,500US so I'm hoping to make a quick buck by reselling it." Sony PS3s will be selling locally around $550 for the 20 gig model and $660 for the 60 gig unit.
