Halton Police report two vehicles on Gollop Cr. were entered sometime late Friday or early Saturday. A wallet and credit cards were taken from a 2006 GMC Yukon, and $30 in coins was taken from a 2005 Acura. Both vehicles were unlocked. ··· A rock was thrown through the window at Preston's Variety Store on Confederation St. Saturday morning. There was no entry into the store. Damage is estimated at $1,000. ··· Approximately $300 worth of items were taken during a break and enter at Acton High School early Saturday morning. Entry was gained through an unlocked cafeteria door. Taken from a display case were a wooden Trojan shield and Styrofoam Celtic cross and $200 worth of candy from a vending machine that had been smashed. Police responded to an alarm at the school, but no one was found when they arrived. ··· A locked 1996 Ford Windstar van was stolen from the parking lot at Georgetown Market Place Friday between 10:15 and 11:15 a.m. The van is valued at $5,000.
