An Acton woman is $33,000 richer after winning second prize with her co-workers in a recent LOTTO 6/49 draw. Julie Grant of Acton along with six co-workers from Ceel Ltd. in Brampton and their daily coffee supply vendor all shared the $233,340 second prize in the Sept. 27 LOTTO 6/49 draw. The other winners are Brampton residents June Young, Tom Hutchinson, Joseph Domingo and Angelo Rakovalis, Craig Duffenais of Orangeville and Fady Bathish, the coffee truck vendor, also of Brampton. The group has been playing the lotteries together for five years. All six co-workers work in production at Ceel Ltd. "I made an announcement during the production meeting that we won the big one and at first no one believed me," said Craig Duffenais of Orangeville, production manager at the company. "Once everything was confirmed, we were all dancing and hugging each other." The group's plans for the windfall include paying bills, vacations, banking and sharing with family. The winning LOTTO 6/49 ticket was purchased at Daisy Mart on Alder St. in Orangeville.
