Flu vaccine delays clinics
Independent & Free Press (Georgetown, ON), 29 Sep 2006, p. 14

Full Text

Halton Region is advising residents that Influenza (Flu) Immunization Clinics will start in mid-November this year due to a delay with vaccine production that is affecting many communities across Canada. In addition to the delay affecting Health Department clinics, flu vaccine offered by physicians and local pharmacies will also be delayed as a result of this situation. Flu clinics will start as soon as the vaccine is received. We encourage residents to check our website at www.halton.ca/flu for updates about the availability of the vaccine and for Flu Clinic schedule information. Flu vaccination is free for all residents of Ontario, six months of age and older.
