`Old lady' conquers Lake Ontario

Colleen Shields, left, is congratulated by manager Nicole Mallette just after Shields touched the breakwall at Marilyn Bell Park in Toronto early Sunday. The 54-year-old Georgetown resident became the oldest person to swim the lake. It took Shields 16 and a half hours to complete the swim which began Saturday at Niagara-on-theLake. See story page 7.
