Dear editor, I'm writing this letter to commend the talent in Georgetown. Recently I was invited to attend a dance recital at the John Elliott Theatre, hosted by Flamingo Dance Studio. I have to tell you I was blown away. Every child on stage got my attention. The confidence from the youngest child through to the oldest exuded on stage. The energy put out by the dancers of every calibre was astounding. All dancers on stage were supported and encouraged by those behind the curtain as well as in the audience. The whole production was put on with such professionalism. The studio covered every detail from flowers for the performers to having sign in/out security for the children while in the care of the studio. The teachers should be commended for their wonderful performances as well, but more importantly, for what they are doing in the classroom. They are giving these children the self-esteem they need to let their stars shine. Bravo, Flamingo Dance Studio. Keep up the good work. Joyce Collins, Georgetown
