Sarah Chapin (33) and Nicole Bond of the Centennial Middle School Chargers from Georgetown try to stop Stewarttown's Carly Thomas in last week's North Halton Tier 1 elementary school girls' basketball championship game at Georgetown District High School. Centennial trailed the Stingers in the third quarter before rallying for the 27-21 victory. Sarah Hickman led the Stingers with 11 points and Thomas had six more. Sophia Troop added five points for the Chargers, who faced wild-card entry West Oak of Oakville in Tuesday night's Halton semi-final matchup in Milton. The winner will face either Rolling Meadows of Burlington or Falgarwood of Oakville in Thursday's Halton championship at Burlington Central High School.
