Full Text

As school kids whiled away their time off school time last week, sisters Rachel, 9, and Carley, 5, Brawn enjoyed planting scarlet runners at the `Crafts with Taisha' table set up in the Georgetown Market Place. The kids made little Popsicle stick men to support the runners when they grow.

Cody Sullivan, 9 of Acton took advantage of the craft programs offered during March Break at the Acton branch of Halton Hill Public Library as he constructed a glider from paper and drinking straws.

Miss Teen Halton, Chelsey Bouchey, 16 of Georgetown, dropped by Play Junction on Mountainview Road during March Break to help with the craft programs as she and Juliana Miller, 3 worked on creating crowns and tiaras for the kids to wear.

Local kids Austin Brown (right) and Jordan Whelan are regulars at the Harrison Public School rink as they played an informal game of hockey recently.
