The annual World Day of Prayer will be held at Sacre-Coeur Church, 39 Guelph Street, Georgetown on Friday, March 3rd at 7:30 p.m. The Word Day of Prayer is sponsored by the Women's Inter-Church Council of Canada. The theme of the service is Signs of the Times, written by the women of South Africa who are facing many challenges as they work towards transformation. Participants attending will not only be learning more about this country, but will also be joining Christians in more than 170 countries around the world who will gather together to pause and pray affirming their faith.
