While living in the United Kingdom, Paula Clements discovered the benefits of aromatic oils when her second daughter was born. "She had extreme eczema and nothing seemed to help," said Clements, "I was invited to a ladies' pampering evening where the demonstrator was showing the benefits of Likisma oils. After the consultant suggested some oils, I tried them on my daughter and was amazed at the results. In five days she was dramatically improved." From then on, Clements was a believer and as she learned more of the benefits of the oils, she began hosting the evenings herself. After three years, she figured it was time to take the new step. As she and her family were returning to Canada after 12 years, it was the perfect time to introduce the products to the Canadian market, "Canadians are an earthy people, and I figure it was a good opportunity to start my business and bring it to Canada," she said. As a result, Clements has a full line of Likisma products and will help organize any `ladies' pampering evenings' for people willing to host them. "People aren't aware of the extent that aromatic oils can help for people," said Clements, "I'm very passionate about it-- but I saw first hand the effect it had on my daughter's eczema." Clements said Likisma oils are based in the U.K. but the oils are extracted all over the world to achieve the highest quality, as different oils are optimized by various growing conditions worldwide.

"There is an oil for virtually every physical or emotional therapy," said Clements, "Every thing from stress relief to arthritis is covered by the oils." The highly concentrated pure oils are blended with a carrier, as they only require a few drops per blending. Clements is accepting invitations to have local residents host Likisma parties in their homes. She says the hosts receive incentive packages for hosting the party. "This is the first time Likisma is being offered in Canada," said Clements, "And I hope to take the distribution across Canada. They are good products, and they do work."
