Have fun and help kids! Bowl for Kids Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters' largest national fund-raising campaign. For over 20 years, Bigs, Littles, donors, corporations, and other community members have been raising money for Big Brothers Big Sisters at annual Bowl for Kids, Sake events in bowling lanes across the country. Three Bowl for Kids Events are planned to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton. They are: · Sunday, February 5, 1-3 p.m. at Georgetown Bowl for 5-pin bowling,
· Friday, February 17, 7-9 p.m. at Hopedale Bowl for 5-pin bowling · Friday, February 24, 7-9 p.m. at Classic Bowl in Mississauga for 10-pin bowling. It's not about bowling. It's about kids. Bowl for Kids Sake is an easy and fun way to make a difference, and everyone can get involved as bowlers, team captain, or a sponsor. It's a party with a team of friends, family, neighbors or colleagues. Remember it's not your skill or your score that counts-- it's your effort! If you care about kids and can
"spare" a little time for fun, then Bowl for Kids Sake is" right up your alley"! The Bowl for Kids' Sake Campaign initiative supports Big Brothers Big Sisters' goal to match 100 new children by the end of 2006. To reach that goal, more funding is needed to dramatically increase volunteer recruitment, marketing, and service delivery. Pledging is easier than ever this year as bowlers can collect pledges on-line.
