Three valuable registered horses belonging to Mr. Jamieson, near Streetsville, were shot by Dominion Government Inspector Stork on Thursday last. The animals were suffering from glanders and by this prompt action on the part of the authorities the disease is stamped out. Under the bill passed last year the owner will be reimbursed two-thirds value of the animals.
