The Scarcity of Houses
Georgetown Herald (Georgetown, ON), 23 May 1906, p. 2

Full Text

Enterprising citizens who want to do so themselves a real service at the present time could do so effectively by building a score of houses that would command a rental of from eight to ten dollars per month. There are constantly enquiries for houses of this sort and there are none to be had. In some towns syndicates are being formed for the erection of houses to meet the public demand. Where there is a lack of private enterprise along this line the idea is a good one.
