COLLIER, William James - Peacefully on Wednesday July 5th, 2006 at Sunnybrook Veterans Hospital, Toronto, in his 95th year. Husband of the late Edith Ridley. Dear father of John (Carol), Jeanette, Joanne (George) Crabtree, Joe (Darlene) and father-in-law of John Collins. Predeceased by his daughter Susan Collins. Loved grandfather of Janet, Christopher, Michael, Heidi, Brian, Janey, Jaime, Sarah, Michelle, Rick and Amanda. Proud great grandfather of Taylor Fife and Dylan Lamont. Son of Joseph and Alice Collier and predeceased by his brothers Mark and Godfrey and sisters Isabelle Davison and Mary Hodgson. Sgt. Wm. J. Collier served overseas for 5 years during WWII with the Lorne Scots. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Ave., Georgetown (905-877-3631) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Monday July 10th at 11 am. Cremation to follow. In memory contributions to Sunnybrook Veterans Hospital or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
