           SNOW, Lydia Jane -- Passed away peacefully at Georgetown and District Memorial Hospital on Friday, October 1, 1999. Lydia Jane Snow in her 82nd year, beloved daughter of the late John W. Snow and Phidelia Snow-Drouilard and Ed Drouilard. Dearly loved sister of C.E. (Bud) Snow and his wife Evaline of Elora, Elwood (Dutch) Snow and his wife Betty of Eden Mills and Annie Gates of Rockwood. Lydia is predeceased by by her brother Sam Snow and brother-in-law Archie Gates. Survived also by many nieces and nephews. Lydia touched the lives of and hearts of so many people. She was an active member of the United Church in Burlington and recently an active member St. John's United Church in Georgetown. Past president of the Halton Branch of t he Federation of WomenTeachers Association of Ontario and a member of the Retired Women teachers of Ontario. Friends were received at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Acton, Ontario on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service was held at St. John's United Church,Georgetown on Monday, October 4, 1999 at 2 o'clock. Cremation to follow.
