SECCO, Vittorino
Like a huge old oak tree in the yard,
Yanked out by its roots, the land is now marred,
It was a horrid death he was dealt,
The loss of Secco is deeply felt,
Gone is the kind man so strong and big,
He had vast gardens where he would dig,
From the summer sun you'd get so brown,
And from the long walks all around town,
He was always first to help a friend,
Secco had virtues that would not bend,
His word was binding, honest and true,
Life had made him wise with all he knew.
In this past year I hope you have found,
A garden to grow and love abound,
In my thoughts you are seen so clearly,
I feel the loss and miss you dearly.
           Love Always
