LAJEUNESSE, Marcel Gedeon -- After a valiant struggle at St. Joseph's Hospital on Friday, January 8, 1999. Marcel Lajeumesse, 50 years of of age. Dear son of Jeanine D'Arc Lajeunesse. Beloved father of Chantal of Waterloo. Sadly missed by his grandson Justin. Survived by his sister Pierrette Tremblay and her husband Claude of Kapuskasing, brothers Michel and wife Daniele of Acton, Donald and his wife Sharon of Winchester. Marcel was well known as an owner operator with Guardian Cab. He leaves many loving family and friends. Friends called at the Gilchrist Chapel - McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, Guelph, Ontario. A vigil for Marcel was held on Monday evening at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 12th at Church of our Lady, Guelph. Cremation with interment of cremated remains in Kapuskasing Catholic Cemetery.
