           Dear Jaunita
We met on the path as teenagers,
When you moved to Noel Shore,
We fast became the best of friends,
No one could ask for more.

           We ran the roads together,
We had a real good time,
If I were not at your house,
Then you were up at mine.

I finished school ahead of you,
           And then I moved away,
           I wondered would we ever,
           Meet up again someday.

But lady luck was with us,
           You followed close behind,
           We lived and played together,
We were two of a kind.

The years moved by so quickly,
           Sometimes our roads were rough,
           We uploaded on each other,
           That seemed to be enough.

Someone to share our fears with,
Our joys, our hopes, our dreams,
Or a shoulder just to cry on,
We took our turns it seems.

But now, Dear Friend, you're leaving,
           They call it "Going Home".
You're leaving me here by myself,
And I feel so all alone.

But the bonds of friendship, Juanita,
           Remain so very tight,
As I sit and think about you,
           Tho' we're far apart tonight.

And wheb you reach that great beyond,
I know you'll watch over me,
For you've always been the best of friend,
           That any friend could be.

           Love Polly, family and friends
