HARRIS, Joseph A. -- Loving husband of Marie , Father of Greg and his wife Angela, grandfather of Jackson and Madeline. Passed away in his 82nd year on Tuesday, March 3, 1998. Son of George and Mary brother of George, Rebecca, Norman, Bruce and Clifford. Joe and Marie shared 50 years in a wonderful marriage, loved son Greg and wife Angela and treasured grandchildren Jackson and Madeline. Joe touched the lives of many through his career as teacher/principal in Norval and Hamilton and his participation in Big Brothers, Masons and Shriners. In 1972 Joe retired to Wasaga Beach and enjoyed a second career in real estate. Joe and Marie returned to Georgetown in 1984 to be close to family and friends Joe will be remembered for his generosity, his sharp dressed style and his story telling. Friends were received at the J.S. Jones and Son Funeral Home, Georgetown, Ontario, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral and commital service was held in the chapel on Saturday, March 7 at 11 a.m. Interment Hilcrest Cememery, Norval.
