McKenzie -- In loving memory of the Rev. Andrew H. McKenzie who passed away after a three month stay in hospital in Penticton, B.C. followed by a brief seven weeks at the Seaforth Manor on June 22, 1996.
I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses,
And the voice I hear falling on my ear
The Son of God discloses,
And...He walks with me,
And...He talks with me,
And...He tells me I am his own.
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known,
This hymn, Andrew used to jokingly say was the favorite of his wife , Isabel. It is true-we still feel "Andys presence in the garden" as well as that of the Son of God whom he served as a Presbyterian minister for 51 years. Remembered fondly by friends far and wide, relatives and a large family of seven children and their spouses, fifteen grandchildren, one great-grandchildren and his widow Isabel.
