Guelph's Centenarian Dead
Mrs. Mary Healy, of Guelph, who had attained the remarkable age of 104 years, slept away at the home of her son-in-law, Patrick Kenney, on Monday. She had been in splendid health of late, and only a few days ago was walking around the neighborhood. She was not ill in any sense of the word, but for a few days preceding her death she was very weak, and those around her knew that the end was not far off. She was greatly interested in the present war, and frequently asked how it was progressing. She talked a great deal of home rule for Ireland, and seemed much pleased a short time ago when she was told that the bill had been signed by the King. She was born in county Kerry, Ireland, in the 1810. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. Mary Kenney, and eight grandchildren.
