Died Without Friends
Joseph Babe, a Russian, living on Beardmore Crescent, who had been ill for several weeks without medical attendance, was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital, Guelph, last Thursday and died there the next day. He had lived here for a couple of years, sent nearly all wages home to Russia and subsisted on a few cents a week. He was employed in one of the tanneries and appears to have no friends here.
