When those in the house went to her room to call her, they found her dead, she having passed away during the night. Deceased had suffered from heart weakness for years and her physician had been to see her on the evening prior to her death. Mrs. Thompson had been a resident of Georgetown for many years and was highly esteemed by all who knew her. She was a member of the Methodist Church and the funeral service was conducted by her pastor, Rev. S. M. Roadhouse.
