Funeral of Mrs. Monroe Yesterday
Mrs. Charlotte Monroe, who was an esteemed resident of Acton for many years, died on Sunday at the home of her sister, Mrs. McCallum, Elmwood, after a brief illness. About a week before she was stricken with paralysis and lingered without pain until the end came. The remains were brought to Acton on Tuesday evening and the funeral took place yesterday afternoon at 2.30, Rev. J. C. Wilson, B.A., officiating. Mrs. Monroe was a godly woman and was generally beloved for her kindliness of spirit and sterling character.
