Mrs. James Donaghy, mother of Mrs. James A. Carnahan and Mrs. T. Smith, died at her home at Mono Road on Sunday, February 18th. She was a native of the township of Caledon and was in her seventy-fifth year. She was married to Mr. Donaghy on February 18th, 1865. One son and three daughters survive with their father: John J. and Miss Eleanor at home and Mrs. Carnahan and Mrs. Smith. Mrs. Donaghy was a life-long member of the Church of England. The funeral on Tuesday of last week was conducted by Rev. A. P. Kennedy, of Tullamore, assisted by Rev. Mr. Matheson, of Caledon East. The remains were interred at St. James Cemetery, Caledon East.
