Death of Miss Ella Hynds.
Sad news of the critical illness of Miss Ella Hynds reached her brother, Councillor George Hynds, on Thursday. He took the first train on Friday morning, but when he arrived the spirit had taken its flight. For about a year Miss Hynds had been suffering from several ailments and the past few months was seen to be gradually failing. She was the daughter of Geo. Hynds, Sr., and for many years resided in Acton with the family. Miss Hynds was a bright Christian, a worker in the Church and Sunday School, and a favorite with all who knew her. Her last visit to Acton was on the occasion of the second re-union of the pupils of the late Robert Little, Esq., and she enjoyed the meeting of so many old friends at that time very much. The remains were interred in St. James' Cemetery on Saturday afternoon.
