Sad End to an Honorable Life.
Friday's papers contained the following dispatch: "BARRIE, Dec. 5. - A. B. Culloden has been found dead in a lane leading up to a house owned by him northwest of the town. The last seen of him alive was on Tuesday of last week when he started home from town. He had evidently been dead several days as the body was partly covered with snow. Deceased had been in poor health over a year, and it is supposed that seized with a weak spell, he perished in the cold." Deceased was a brother of Mrs. S. A. Secord of this town, and was for many years a resident of Lowville in this county. He removed to the north about ten years ago. He was an honorable, spright gentleman, a total abstainer, and had reached the ripe age of 82 years. His sad lonely ending is regetted by all.
