Death of Robert Parsons.
The remains of Mr. Robert Parsons of Buffalo, N.Y., were interred in Fairview Cemetery on Monday morning. Mr. Parsons was a respected resident of Buffalo for some years. He passed away on August 10th at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Flynn, Berlin, Ont. He left Buffalo a few weeks ago for a trip through Canada in hope of benefiting his health which has been failing for some time. He suddenly grew worse on August 1st, when his family were summoned to his bedside where they remained until he peacefully passed away. He leaves a widow and nine children to mourn his loss. Mrs. Thos. Storey, Buffalo, N.Y., Mrs. John Flynn, Berlin, Ont., Mrs. John Geal, jr., Buffalo, N.Y., Annie May, Fannie, Nellie, Robert and John. He was a member of Trinity Lodge, I.O.O.F. No. 596 and International Encampment No. 131, of Buffalo, N.Y., and of Acton A.O.U.W. The funeral services were conducted at Berlin by the Rev. Robert Armstrong, rector of the Church of England. The body was interred in Fairview Cemetery where the services were conducted by a delegation of Oddfellows who accompanied the body from Berlin.
