NASSAGAWEYA.
It is our sad duty to chronicle the death of Mr. Charles Rawson, on Friday morning 30th Sept., at the age of 68 years. Deceased has been ailing for some time and dropsy set in a few weeks ago and resulted in his death. During his long suffering he was very patient and ready should the Master call him. He was a highly respected resident. The funeral took place on Saturday from his residence to the Ebenezer cemetery. The pall bearers were Messrs. Thos. Taylor, Geo. Easterbrook, Jas. Miller, Wm. Diamond, Wm. Husband and Thos. Locker. The Rev. Dr. Scanlan conducted the burial service and preached the funeral sermon.
