Death of Ezra Adams.
For many years Ezra Adams was a familiar and respected resident of this community. A few years ago he removed to Drayton to reside with his nephews there. He died in that village on Thursday, 28th February. The Advocate refers to the event and the surroundings as follows:-
"The fifth funeral inside of three months took place from the residence of Mr. Vincent R. Adams last Saturday afternoon. A familiar face on our streets has been hid from view for all time, in the person of Mr. Ezra Adams, familiarly known as Uncle Ezra, who died last Thursday morning. The deceased was a native of Quebec and came to Ontario when a young man. He resided for many years in Acton, where he experienced many trials in the affliction and death of all his family. He was over 80 years of age."
