Mr. W. J. Nicklin died at Gloversville, N.Y., last Friday morning, and was buried on Sunday with Masonic honors. Mr. E. B. Nicklin, his brother, of Stewarttown, and Mr. I. Francis went over to attend the funeral and returned on Tuesday. Mrs. Francis was with her brother for a month before his death. Deceased was a young man of ability. He served his time as a printer in the FREE PRESS office, about ten years ago and has since held good situations in Montreal, Toronto and New York. He was in business for himself in Gloversville, and did well until poor health necessitated his retirement. He leaves a wife who feels the loss of her companion very keenly.
