The funeral of the late Rev. Alex. Warren, took place last Friday afternoon from the residence of his brother, Mr. John Warren, to Fairview Cemetery. The funeral was one of the most largely attended that ever passed through Acton. Mr. Johnson, a Presbyterian ministerial student of Montreal, conducted the services at the house, and Rev. Alex. Grant, Superintendent of the Baptist Home Mission, at the grave. An impressive memorial service was held in the Baptist Church, after interment. Among those present at the funeral from a distance were Mr. James Warren, Kincardine; Mr. and Mrs. Alex. Davidson, Elora; Mrs. Campaigne, Goderich; Miss Maggie Cameron, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Stone, Toronto, and Mr. Simon McLean, Ripley.
